Mike Whitten
Vice President / Director of Maintenance
Mike's background in structure, discipline, and team leadership carries over into ensuring systems run efficiently and the company continues to operate at a high standard.
Mike's is the Head Basketball Coach at Wimberley High School. Alongside coaching, he serves as Vice President and Director of Maintenance for Tex Star, where he plays a key role in overseeing equipment readiness, operational support, and day-to-day maintenance coordination.
His combined experience in education, leadership, and operations brings added structure and reliability to the business, helping ensure that every project is completed with professionalism and consistency
Carey Whitten
President and CEO
Carey has been running Tex Star Trees & Landscapes for over 16 years, building the company through hard work, consistency, and a genuine commitment to her customers. She takes great pride not only in the quality of the work, but in the relationships built along the way.
